Moez Melon: Moez has been writing lyrics since the age of 15 and began composing and performing songs at the age of 17. He has performed at various events and festivals in Canada and is a rising artist in the Canadian music scene. Moez's songs speak about the various unspoken issues and challenges facing Muslim youth and youth in general of this day and age. Recognizing that life is a complicated thing and that everything and everyone is "different different" as he says in one of his songs, Moez is unafraid to speak about what he believes are important issues that face our world today, and often avoids cliches by writing songs which are not only catchy, but intellectual. Upon listening to the words and the fusion of pop and R&B melodies in his debut album 'Honest Artist', (produced by rising music producer and filmmaker, Jamie Zampini and one song with producer Malik 2 3) one can tell that Moez Melon is the type of songwriter/singer who puts serious thought into his work by balancing art, intellect and entertainment.
